DR. JULIE ALIG Data Analytics Expert, Business Growth Catalyst

Julie Alig, Ph.D.

I specialize in uncovering hidden value within businesses preparing for an exit or acquisition.

With a deep understanding of data and a passion for turning numbers into insights, I help owners, advisors and investors maximize a business’s potential.

Through advanced statistical analysis I pinpoint profit centers, create and validate forecasts, optimize pricing, and identify high-value customer segments. My goal is to provide the data-driven clarity needed to make informed decisions and achieve optimal outcomes.

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of data and decision-making. My journey began in academia, where I developed a deep appreciation for the power of analytics to uncover hidden insights. However, I quickly realized that the real-world application of these skills was where my passion lay.

I traded the ivory tower for the boardroom, immersing myself in the complexities of higher education administration. For two decades I served as a trusted advisor to presidents, provosts and deans, providing data-driven solutions to their most pressing challenges. This experience honed my ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies that drive results.

Seeking a new challenge, I founded JLA Analytics, LLC, to bring my expertise to the business world. Now I partner with organizations to harness the power of data to optimize operations, increase revenue, and gain a competitive edge. My goal is simple: to help businesses make smarter, data-driven decisions.

My deep dive into data doesn’t stop at financial metrics. I’m equally passionate about understanding the customer landscape. By analyzing customer profitability, purchase patterns, and concentration, I can identify potential risks and opportunities for businesses. This insight is invaluable for owners looking to maximize their investment or potential buyers assessing a company’s future growth.
